Meet the people behind Refine

As the founder and owner of Refine, I personally lead the practice and the care of every patient. I am truly passionate about the care we deliver here, and I have been an NP/APRN since 1997 with over 10 years of experience in both medical aesthetics and women’s health/primary care.

My Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner is from the University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelors in Nursing is from Georgetown University. After living in Manhattan and working at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Columbia University’s School of Nursing, I moved to the Connecticut Shoreline in 2003.

Committed to continuous learning and growth, I regularly engage in extensive continuing education in both aesthetics and wellness from accredited institutions. I’m a nationally recognized Certified Master Injector and have completed training as a perimenopause and menopause provider from both Harvard Medical School and The Menopause Society.

But it's not just me here- I’ve hand-selected a team of experts (and meticulously trained them with the “Refine Approach”) to maintain the highest standards of care. With me and my curated team, you can trust our practice to help you achieve your aesthetic and wellness goals.

Tara Gagliardi has been part of the Refine team since 2024 and an Esthetician since 2009. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience with best skincare practices and performing a wide range of treatments including microdermabrasion, skin care consults and advanced medical-grade chemical peels and facials.

With her wealth of experience and commitment to excellence, Tara is dedicated to helping clients achieve radiant, healthy skin through personalized and effective skincare treatments.
