Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are offered at our Westbrook, Connecticut office with our licensed esthetician, using the peels by SkinMedica.

The peels by SkinMedica are fantastic for diminishing the appearance of:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Uneven skin tone and texture
• Acne scarring
• Other pigment changes, including those from sun damage and melasma

These peels are also great for helping pores to appear smaller. Skin is noticeably more radiant after just one peel, with compelling results after 3 to 6 peels. Peels can be repeated every 3 to 4 weeks. Individual results may vary.

• Illuminize Peel. Can be done during the same appointment as a Diamond Glow.
• Vitalize Peel and Rejuvenize Peel. For stronger results with a peel alone. See Vitalize Peel results.

• Avoid retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or alpha/beta hydroxy acids for 5 days beforehand.
• No direct sun exposure for 7 days beforehand.
• Peels must be at least 2 weeks after an injectables treatment, and can be done any time before one.
