Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is an advanced treatment for permanent hair reduction. At Refine Medical & Aesthetics in Westbrook and Westport, Connecticut, both face and body treatments are popular.

Every plan starts with a consultation, which you can book at either of our offices: Westbrook on the shoreline or Westport in Fairfield County.

Our laser has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, which makes treatments convenient and fast.

Men are welcome to book laser hair removal at Refine, as they are for all of our aesthetic services. The same face and body areas apply, including the back, chest, shoulders, and neck.

Our laser has a built-in skin cooling surface, which significantly reduces discomfort.

All permanent hair reduction devices require a series of treatments, so laser hair removal is planned as a series rather than a single visit. You can purchase a package or individual treatment sessions. Individual results may vary.

• Treatment can't be done if you have a suntan in the treatment area.
• No self-tanner for at least 4 weeks beforehand, including self-tanning makeup.
• Avoid NSAIDs or aspirin for 3 days beforehand.
• Avoid topicals with active ingredients, such as retinol, salicylic or glycolic acid, alpha or beta hydroxy acids, vitamin C, or niacinamide, for 7 days beforehand.
